We believe that protecting yourself and loved ones should be easy to learn, available for all ages, abilities, and communities, and based on your natural responses. It should be taught in a fun, supportive and safe environment that is trauma informed.

Mental resilience, emotional awareness, knowledge, confidence, survival mindset, healthy coping mechanisms for stress, fear and anxiety

Intuition, de-escalation, healthy boundaries, avoiding victim selection, managing egos, situational awareness, understanding human behavior and early warning signs

Physical safety, agility, body autonomy, understanding predators, managing violent situations and the aftermath such as a home invasion, mugging, sexual assault, carjacking, provocation and bullying

You, your family, friends, the community, online, relationships, coercive control, domestic and family violence, consent, understanding the law
Over 90% of violent attacks are by someone you know, often someone very close like an intimate partner, family member or work colleague. And almost all of the time it comes by surprise.
The odds of being assaulted by a random stranger is less than 5%.
41% of Australians (8 million) have experienced and reported violence (physical, mental and/or sexual) since the age of 15. Non-reported incidents make this statistic much higher.
Many people in the world have successfully protected themselves with just a small amount of preventative, practical and effective training combined with a good survival mindset.
True Violence Prevention and Self-Protection is approx. 90% mental, and only 10% physical.
We believe training needs to be provided in response to these facts listed above. However, most of what is taught in the world today has been incorrectly labeled as ‘Self Defense’ and does not address them sufficiently.
Note: The World Health Organisation (WHO) defines violence as 'The intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person, or against a group or community, which either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, mal-development or deprivation'.
Note: The statistics provided are for general information purposes only and should not be relied upon as precise or definitive.
